About Me

Hi, my name is Amy Auger and I LOVE to dance!

I started line dance lessons in January of 2002 at the suggestion of a friend. It didn’t take long to realize that I was hooked! I began to teach line dancing in 2004 and love every minute. From beginner to intermediate dancers, I enjoy sharing my love of line dancing with everyone.

I teach line dancing to all types of music, slow and fast, country and non-country, to songs you may or may not recognize! Line dancing has certainly broadened the range of music I listen to!

I attend workshops throughout the year to pick up new dances and socialize with dance friends. The Fort Wayne Dance For All in the spring in Indiana, Frank Trace’s Ohio Summer Line Dance Classic in the summer in Canton, Ohio, and Jill Babinec’s Dance For A Cure in the fall near Youngstown, Ohio are events I regularly attend.

I also enjoy couples dancing, particularly Hustle, West Coast Swing, East Coast Swing, Jitterbug, Lindy, and Two Step.

Proud parent of a Cleveland POPS Chorus singer!
