Judges

Rincy Jacob

Rincy Jacob was classically trained in Bharatanatyam for 13 years, Kuchipodi for 1 year and also has exposure to Bollywood, Hip Hop, Bhangra, Raas, Contemporary, and Salsa. At St. John's University, she was two time captain of SJU Raaz, an all-female Bollywood Fusion team, from 2016-2018, and director of their university’s own Fusion Competition, Sinatra Showdown, from 2018-2019. Judging competitions since 2019, Rincy has done a variety of Fusion as well as a Classical competition. After college, she joined the Female Alumni team, Khiladis, from 2020-2021. Rincy strives to expand on her passion and will continue to grow as a dancer in years to come, especially by continuing her leadership roles both in the dance community and her professional career.

Nikki Naik started dancing at the age of three training in styles like ballet, tap, jazz, lyrical and contemporary, among others. After growing up as a company dancer, Nikki danced with collegiate Bollywood fusion team ASU Andaaz as a dancer and captain, and also co-founded Desi Dance Convention in 2016. Nikki is passionate about dance education, and taught young dancers the foundations of styles like ballet, tap and jazz, along with Bollywood classes at dance studios in Arizona and South Carolina. She was also an instructor and performance company director for Allegro’s School of Dance in Minnesota where she had the opportunity to introduce dancers to Bollywood for the first time. Now, Nikki is continuing her personal dance training and education by taking a variety of workshops in New York City.

Anirudh Chintakunta

Anirudh, currently residing in Queens, NY, has been an active member of the fusion circuit since 2017. He started off as a member and choreographer of NYU Dillagi for 4.5 years during his undergrad, and is currently a dancer and board member of Aluminati. Throughout his time in the circuit, he's gained experience and received training in Kuthu, Bhangra, and Bollywood. Externally, he has also taken part in set design and choreographed for cultural organizations, and currently frequents many workshops within those and many other styles of dance. He is excited to be a part of Legacy on Broad once again and can't wait to see the caliber of dancing that teams will be bringing the city of brotherly love this year!

Shriya graduated from Penn State University and currently works as a project manager. She has been learning Bharatanatyam since she was 5 years old! And while at Penn State for her undergrad, she performed with Penn State Natya, the school's competitive Bharatanatyam dance team.

Sonali Dadoo

Sonali Dadoo completed her Minor in Modern Dance & Dance Composition from Drexel University where she was also Drexel Jhalak’s youngest lead dancer. She is an active member of the Bhangra community - competing with First Class Bhangra since 2011 as a captain, competitive dancer, and founder of the resurgence of FCB Juniors. She continues to dance on all-female Bhangra teams, “Shikari” and “DC Bhangra Crew.” Supported by 13 years of Kathak training, Sonali is also a company dancer and touring ensemble dancer for “Naina Kathak.” Sonali also fosters dance in her community by founding the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center’s first dance movement program, teaching dance, and, of course, judging DDN competitions!
