Course Overview:

The South Carolina College and Career Ready Standards for Mathematics (SCCCR) will be used for instructional purposes during the 2023-24 school year. In Grade 6 and 7, instructional time will focus on five critical areas: (1) the number system; (2) ratios and proportional relationships; (3) expressions, equations, and inequalities; (4) geometry and measurement; and (5) data analysis and statistics.

The South Carolina College and Career Ready (SCCCR) Mathematical Process Standards describe ways in which developing student practitioners of the discipline of mathematics increasingly ought to engage with the subject matter as they grow in mathematical maturity and expertise throughout the elementary, middle, and high school years.
