Your child will be able to earn DOJO points for positive behavior or they can have points taken away for not following the rules.

Please connect to Class Dojo to follow your child's daily behavior as well how many dojo points they are earning. .

When Students Break My Rules…

1st Consequence: Verbal Warning

2nd Consequence: Point taken off of individual Class Dojo.

3rd Consequence: Student will have a “hall talk” with teacher for redirection.

4th Consequence: Student will have to take a time-out in another classroom.

5th Consequence: MIR (Minor Incident Report) will be filled out and parent contact

via email or phone call will be made. Student will have to Lunch Detention or

Alternative Recess.

6th Consequence: MIR (Minor Incident Report) will be filled out and parent contact

via email or phone call will be made. Student will have to go to “Cubs Correct” for redirection for 30 minutes with written reflection.

7th Consequence and/or Severe Clause: Send to Principal, ISS/OSS and parent contact via phone call will be made.

When My Students Follow the Rules…

Students that follow the rules will have the opportunity to earn points on Class Dojo. They can trade their points in for treats and other special activities.

Positive Reinforcements are:

• verbal praise & recognition

• Stickers & stamps

• Treats from the treasure box

• Special celebrations

Office Referral**Red Flag Offense** If your child's conduct includes fighting, bullying, inappropriate language, stealing, or any other offense mentioned in the Student Code of Conduct, they will be immediately referred to the office.
