Paper with R. Levi and G. Perakis entitled "The data-driven newsvendor model: New bounds and insights" was one of only two Finalists for the Best Operations Management paper in the journal Operations Research published in 2015

[October 2012]

Paper entitled "Stochastic optimization for resource allocation with random emergencies" received First Prize in the Student Best Paper Award in the iNFORMS Service Science Section. The award was given during the 2012 INFORMS Conference in Phoenix, Arizona.
