About Mrs. Nance

This year marks my 24th year in education and my 23rd year at South Point High School. I earned my Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from UNC-Charlotte and my Masters Degree in Business Administration from Pfeiffer University. I spent nine years working as an operations manager before moving into education.  I earned National Board Certification in November of 2009 and re-certified in 2018.  

I have been married to my husband, Michael, for thirty-two years. We have two adult children, Mary and Craig. We have a black lab (Otis) and a newly adopted rescue (Amos). I am a member of First United Methodist Church in Belmont. I enjoy reading, volunteering and spending time with my family.
