Tullamore Food Fayre arose from the food market established in 2014 by the Offaly Delicious Food Network; it became a self-standing entity under its current name the following year. It is less than ten minutes' walk from the Town Centre, but offers a very different shopping experience.

Sheltered from wind and rain, you can visit the various stalls and talk directly to the friendly local producers who grow, make, and source the array of quality foods available. Fresh local produce. Carefully selected coffee beans from around the world. Wheatgrass and juices to boost your health. A taste of warmer climes with olives, oils, and hand-made pasta. On the first Saturday of each month, the food traders are joined by local crafters and artists selling a range of beautiful and skillfully made artefacts.

And when you have finished browsing and shopping, a seating area awaits where you can continue to chat and enjoy your leisure while sampling some of the delights you have acquired — a cup of coffee, tea or hot chocolate made to your taste; a warming vegan curry or soup; a delicious burger barbecued as you wait; a well deserved bun, cake or dessert.
