MEETING PROGRAMME -  2023-24

FUTURE MEETINGS

The Southern Counties Railway Society holds indoor meetings starting this autumn at George Lee Room, Christ Church, Freemantle, Southampton, SO15 3BS.

A £2 admission charge is asked to cover costs at the door, for each meeting.

All will be at 18:45hrs start with doors opening at 18:15hrs and, providing we are allowed, there will be tea and coffee served and the usual sales stand. The programme arranged so far is as follows:

Saturday 17th September 2023: Goslings Gallivants 2022. Paul Gosling

Saturday 21st October 2023: Cross Channel Rail Ferries  WW1 / WW2. Gordon Adams

Saturday 18th November 2023: Mixed Transport. Martyn Davies 

Saturday 16th December 2023 :Film Show Also Small Christmas Buffet. Martin Davey

Saturday 20th January 2024: Members Photographic Evening Please Bring Slides Or Memory Stick With Pictures On No More Than 15 Mins Slide Show Each Person  

Saturday 17th February 2024: Railways Of The West Country. Stephen Bigley

Saturday 16th March 2024: Iron Horse Productions DVD Film Evening. Andy/ Ryan Lamb 

Saturday 20th April 2024: Martin Petch from The Southampton Tram Workshop 

Saturday 18th May 2024: Isle Of Man: David Mead  

Saturday 15th June 2024: AGM Followed By Slides/ Digital Entertainment 

No Meetings in July or August Summer Break
