Judging and Rubric

Awards

Medals will be earned for the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd highest scoring teams.
The school with the best average score will win the traveling trophy, which will be up for competition again next year.
- The top scores from each school will participate towards the average. The school with the least amount of participating teams will determine the cutoff for the top scores put toward this average.

All entries will be graded on the attached rubric
- Teams MUST choose to create a project to meet the scientific route criteria or engineering route criteria
There will be three judges from each participating high school
Each judge scores each project separately, and the four judge's scores will combine to a total score
Students vote for teacher judges upon submission of the entry form. Judges are chosen off of popular vote and subject of expertise. There will be 2 judges from each school
