Research
pervasive systems Research group (PSRG)
Established in 2016, this group is focused towards the design and development of pervasive systems that can be integrated with multidisciplinary fields, including sensors, artificial intelligence, wireless networks, signal processing, software engineering and others. The main aim of this group is to find innovative solutions and applications that can remove the barriers to attain sustainable development of our society.
The group has recently received research grant from Higher Education Commission, Pakistan for the development of a pervasive health-care system to enable assisted living in smart cities. Also, one research fund has been completed in collaboration with Universiti Teknologi Petronas, Malaysia, that was aimed for the development of an autonomous systems for cardiac patients.
The main research areas are:
Internet-of-Things (IoT)
Pervasive Systems
Cyber Security
Machine Learning / Deep Learning
Wireless Networks (WSN, MANET & VANET)
Mobile Crowdsourcing
Context-aware and Location based services
Sensors (RF & Microwave) and Data Fusion
Mobile Edge Computing
Research Collaborations :
The group has established collaboration with the researchers from different international and national universities, that provides joint research projects, students & researchers exchange and joint publications.
