Summer Review

Dear Parents/Guardians,

Your son/daughter learned a lot this year in Primary French Immersion! Many of you begin a summer with little, if any, exposure to French. With this in mind, it is common for students to regress in language due to having two months of limited practice in French. Here is a list of resources to help your son/daughter keep up his/her French practice throughout the summer.

Listening to French:

- Watching favourite TV shows/movies in French by changing the language

- https://www.tfo.org/fr/ TV shows in French

- Review YouTube videos and songs we have learned this year (Refer to videos on our website or Matt Maxwell has lots of great French videos on YouTube)

Reading:

- http://www.123bonjour.com/ French audio books, vocab revision and links to songs on YouTube

- https://boukili.ca/en Free App available for both Android and Apple users to read levelled French books

Writing:

- Keep a journal writing a few sentences about special activities you do throughout the summer

Math:

Another great idea is to review previous homework especially vocabulary.

We hope you find this list useful. Have a fantastic summer!
