After grad events are held at many secondary schools throughout the province to provide a safe, alcohol and drug-free, chaperoned after-party for the graduating class. It is organized by parent volunteers who fundraise and plan the event with student input. The event is heavily subsidized by fundraising, which goes towards the cost of the venue, entertainment, food, activities and prizes. We try to provide this event at minimal cost to the students to encourage all to attend.
