About Me

To be honest, my life looks more like Forest Gump’s life than it does Ferris Bueller’s. Like Gump, I grew up poor and ignorant and I had a parent who told me I could do anything I wanted to do. Sooooo, I started doing what I wanted… and I wanted to do so many different things! Forest kind of accidentally fell into new roles. I CHOSE to. Variety IS the spice of life. Education is the key to freedom!

Side Note: Ferris Bueller’s Day Off and Forest Gump are two must-see movies! If you have not seen them, you are missing out. Get busy.

My story is way more interesting than a list, but I'm getting old and the story is long.

Note... The text below outlives the pics. More pics are coming... I just ran out of time.

Hobbies & Entertainment

Much of my time is spent working on our "Urban Farm". We have a half acre in Corvallis with:

Goats, Chickens, Raised garden beds, a 22 tree fruit orchard, blueberry bushes, grape vines, strawberries, thornless blackberries, and Kiwi plants.

My wife and I hike almost daily with our two newest babies, Zuri and Zulu, our Rhodesian Ridgeback dogs.

We love going to the coast and to find new trails and water falls.

I probably spend too much time on Netflix, but otherwise I try to live in the moment.
