French Daoist Association
The French Daoist Association is a for-non-profit organisation aiming at propagating the various aspects of Daoist culture, including philosophy, meditation, chinese Medicine, Yangsheng, Taiji quan, Fengshui, Yijing, and ancient classical texts.
We facilitate exchanges and interactions with other associations sharing the same interest in the world ; and provide suitable environment to invite chinese daoist masters in europe as well as helping westerners to go and visit daoist priests in china.
Karine Martin PhD
The French Daoist Association was founded by karine Martin who has more than 25 years of taoist experience and 15 years living full time in the daoist temples of China.
Karine started her carreer as a neuroscience researcher in pharmaceutical companies in England. She then left this path to move to the daoist temples in China where she fulfilled her apprenticeship and got ordained as a Quanzhen priestess and ritual master.
Karine also hold a doctorate in Pharmaceutical sciences and a PhD in Religious and Cultural studies in Daoism She speaks fluently Chinese, english and french. She has been involved on many international documentaries et conferences including the UNESCO and interreligious gatherings around the world. She has received numerous awards in asia for her contribution to the research in traditional culture. (CV).
