PROPOSAL FOR A TECH BUSINESS PARTNERSHIP
INTRODUCTION:
Social Faculty is a youth organisation with the vision of establishing an informal campus for competent social education, innovation and vocation for teenagers and youths finding it difficult to enroll into formal tertiary education.
Social Faculty has managed to dominate it's target market over the past five years with a huge social media following. Over one hundred and ten thousand followers on Instagram and over twenty five thousand on Facebook.
The Claire 🌸 App is a flagship product of Social Faculty. It is an anonymous social networking software that allow users to share all kinds of issues anonymously to receive advices and solutions in real-time from Claire and other anonymous users.
The application was first launched on the Android Playstore on November 17, 2017 and since then, it have gathered over 35 thousand users from all over the world, without a single advertising budget or marketing campaign. The app has 4.7 star rating on playstore and currently trending at number 96 on the top 100 social apps on Android Playstore.
From all projections, anonymous social networking is taking over the regular personified social networking. Claire is going to replace Twitter. Claire is the next big thing 🌸

The idea of this software was born out of dire necessity and demand from thousands of our social media followers. Hundreds of youths flood our contact services daily, seeking guidance in matters of relationship, school, work, social issues and life in general.
Instagram as a company is on a steady growth and our Social Faculty community over there will therefore continue to grow. With a projections of 1M Followers by 2021 and being the parent page of Claire, there is an assurance of perpetual growth for the Claire app.
At the time of drafting this proposal, it became one year and a day since the official launch of the Claire App and almost two years of running in total including the Alpha/Beta testings and intial software developments.
Making over 2 years and 5 million naira spent on this idea; therefore, it's no more a question of if this (first in the world) software has a prospect or if people love it, or if it will be profitable. All those have been confirmed sky-high positive.
Within the first six months of launch, the app generated 1.7 million Naira in attracted revenue including a venture capital of ten thousand dollars from foreign investment. By the end of the first year, Claire had generated and reinvested a total of 5.3 million Naira all by herself.

In 1999, a Chinese teacher named Jack Ma raised 60,000 USD from 17 of his friends, to start Alibaba.com. Today Alibaba is among top ten biggest companies in the world with a net worth of 420 Billion USD.
Jack Ma's personal net worth is 36 Billion USD. This means that those 17 friends and other few investors that came onboard are worth the rest of 384 Billion USD.
THE INVESTMENT/PARTNERSHIP PROPOSAL:
In order to scale (develop, grow and sustain) the Claire app to the point where it begins to generate revenue, it will need a stable and sustainable rounds of adequate funding from Investors, Venture Capitalists, Individual Financiers, Partners or Co-Founders.
I'm currently working with just one (Android) developer and 2 admins. This pace can never amount to anything, it slows down progress and kills engagement with app users thereby wasting time and money.
The essence of this big letter to you is to seek your financial partnership investment in order to continue growing the app, produce the iOS (Apple) versions and progress towards generating higher income.
I'm seeking financial investment of ten to twenty million Naira in exchange for shares, ownership equity and other forms of returns, collateral and security that will be discussed in further sections of this proposal.
This will enable the company to run for another nine to eighteen months in order to develop and finalise the revenue generating features into the app. Once these revenue generating features (RGF) are fully integrated into the app, it will begin to make enough money not just to run itself, but provide over 500 percent in profit annually for all investors.
PROPOSED MONTHLY EXPENDITURE BREAKDOWN:
Monthly salary for four developers (iOS and Android) - N800,000
Monthly salary for five app admins/moderators - N200,000
Monthly Internet services and server subscriptions - N50,000
Monthly Marketing Budget - N150,000
Monthly Rent and Management, Electricity and Miscellaneous - N300,000
Total Monthly Expenditure - 1,500,000
Total Expenditure for Proposed One Year - N18,000,000
Note: Economically, this proposed expenditure can be slashed by two to maintain a lower budget. i.e. two developers and three admins and reducing all other expenses by half, bringing:
Total monthly expenditure to N750,000
Total first year expenditure to N9,000,000
However, this will slow down proposed progress rate and push revenue generation late further by one year.
PROPOSED MEANS OF GENERATING REVENUE: (AKA How The Income Will Flow In)
The Claire app is a micro-blogging software for sharing diary issues and advices in realtime. Two of Claire’s biggest perks are the anonymity and positivity around the app, unlike other social networks. There hasn't been any case of identity/privacy breach, hate or abuse. Instead, the user base has continued to grow at a rate of five thousand new users every month despite the fact that developments and marketing has been paused. The proposed growth rate after this investment is over twenty thousand new users monthly with 100 percent user-ratio increase every other year.
I went ahead and created undeveloped features that will allow users to even make money for engaging "nicely” on the app. We are introducing a proposed game points to money cash-out program. This means that users can earn points for using the app and then convert those points to Naira when due and cash out directly to their bank account.
With this, the app will not only scale massively but will also start bringing in so much revenue.
This game points will culminate into our very own cryptocurrency called Love.
Regular users will get 3 Loves for every session/post they followed with advices on the Trending session.
Alter Ego users will get 5 Loves for every session/post they followed with advices on the Alter Ego Mode.
1 love for every general user session followed by 100 people and above.
Now, conversion to Naira is:
100 Loves equalls 10 Naira.
1000 Loves equalls 100 Naira.
10000 Loves equalls 1000 Naira.
Users can cahsout directly to their bank accounts when they have up to 10000 Loves and above. Which is 1000 Naira, about 4 Dollars.

The use and trade of this proposed in-app currency is bound to create a highly profitable local and foreign exchange treasury within the app. Up to 10 million Naira will be realised in profits monthly from 2022.

Now, Apart from getting money from users paying monthly subscriptions on the app; Question is How Will The App Make Enough Money To Even Pay User Cash-outs?
Answer is Smart Advertising:
1. Native Ads (Feeds and Timelines)
Users will see ads that looks just like a normal diary cards as they browse the Home Page (Trending Sessions), Ego Pages, Following Sessions etc. The ads will be presented based on users activity such they can only see ads about the kind of sessions they follow on the app.
2. Smart Native Ads. (Based on Categories)
Users will see ads based on categories they are following or browsing.
3. Smart Native Auto-Recommended by Claire Ads. (Based on Diary Session keywords)
If user mentions for example hair in his diary session, auto recommendation ad will add advert about a hair brand in form of a "Ps" at the bottom of Claire's original response.
4. Mood Ads (Based on Session Mood)
We will have adverts show to users based on their selected mood for diary sessions. A new (ps) reply will come from Claire referencing user's current mood and recommending a promoted song or video or article that fits the mood.
5. Promotion Access to Users and Brand Accounts.
Users and brands who want to run ads or promote their posts/sessions will request for a "Promotion" side menu on their app which will come at a cost because users will have to have add up to 100,000 Loves (about 10,000 Naira) to their promo tab. They can do so by paying with the debit card connected to their account.
On this Tab, they can set up and monitor their ad campaings. They can see the impressions for timeline, categories, moods, etc and they can see how many times Claire has recommended their ads.
Cost Per Impression on timelines and categories equalls 1 Love.
Cost per Recommendations equalls 10 loves.

THE FINANCIAL PROJECTIONS:
The Claire app is expected to have over 500 thousand users in the next two years.
Statistically, over 10 percent of the users will make subscriptions every month at about 5 dollars (1,500 Naira) per user.
That's 50,000 users multiplied by 5 dollars. 250,000 USD monthly on subscriptions alone.
The revenue projections for adverts can not be over estimated at this point; statistically, the app can generate over 1,000,000 USD monthly from adverts starting from the next three years. Yes, 1 million dollars, every month!
This figure is based on over 50 percent of every post containing an native, non-intrusive advert.(adverts that doesn't disturb user experience).
We are currently getting over 2000 posts a day. In the next three years, it is estimated to be at 300,000 posts a day.
Therefore, if an advert is seen 10 times for 1 dollar, by the end of the day, over 30,000 dollars have been made on adverts alone.
Not to mention there are several other means of revenue generation from this app that will unroll as the app develops and expands further.
It is important to note that I have created features into 10 years from now. I have envisaged futuristic technologies and already developed incoming features that will incorporate Machine Learning (ML) Robotics, Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Virtual Reality (VR). The possibilities over here in the next 10 years is stupendous.

1M INVESTOR
Returns:
As a 1Million Investor you are entitled to double on your investment just after 10 months. That is 2 million Naira after 10 months of complete investment. You can choose to reinvest this 2 million plus an extra 500K into the business and become a 2.5Million Investor for another 10 months to gain another 2.5 million, bringing a total of 5 million in very less than 2 years. You can however, at this point, choose to withdraw your investment and cashout your asset or go for a higher or lower level of investment.
Collateral and Security:
A. Sworn court affidavits stating deeds and agreement of this loan/investment.
B. Landed property or acceptable property worth more than 5 million Naira.
C. Original hard copy of this proposal or the ammended copy singed by both of us, lawyers and witnesses.
D. A certificate of "1 Million Naira Investment in Claire App" attached to a sworn court affidavit that confirms that same certificate, upon its second year of issuance, is worth 5 million Naira.
5M INVESTOR
Returns:
As a 5Million Investor you are entitled to double on your investment just after 10 months. That is 10 million Naira after 10 months of complete investment. You will however, at this point, choose to withdraw and cashout part of your investment and go for a lower level of investment or you can reinvest your 10 million naira to become a director and board member in the company owning a 5 percentage of ownership shares while still getting double of your investment yearly. That is 20 million naira in very less than two years plus your profit of shares and equity.
Owning 5 percent of ownership equity means you become a Director, Board Member and equity holder as co founder of the company. This means you will get 5 percent of the total annual profit generated on the Claire app.
Based on the financial projections section above, the Claire App will be posting over 90 million Naira in profits from the third year with over 50 percent annual profit increase. You will be entitled to 5 percent of this.
Collateral and Security:
A. Sworn court affidavits stating deeds and agreement of this loan/investment.
B. Landed property or acceptable property worth more than 20 million Naira. By guarantor.
C. Original hard copy of this proposal or the ammended copy singed by both of us, lawyers and witnesses.
D. A certificate of "5 Million Naira Investment in Claire App" attached to a sworn court affidavit that confirms that same certificate, upon its second year of issuance, is worth 20 million Naira.
E. A certificate of “5 Percent Equity Ownership in Claire App” attached to a sworn court affidavit that confirms that same certificate, upon its second year of issuance, is worth 5 percent of that year's total profit.
F. Inclusion of your name as a director and board member of the Claire Company with the Corporate Affairs Commission (CAC) and a copy of the original certificate of business registration.
Additionally, to completely boost your confidence and security of your investment, I am willing to move the business operations to your city or location of your choice to make it easy for you to monitor operations and progress and to completely put you incharge of your investment. The company is a small company that will function perfectly with only 7 staff members, that is 2 developers and 5 admins/moderators. The developers can work remotely or residentially and we can employ for admin staff from your local city.
