ICCI 2019 Fieldtrip
The fieldtrip covers ten important continental ichnofossil sites from Early Permian through the Early Cretaceous of central and northern Germany as well as two museum collections (Schleusingen, Gotha). Transport, accommodation (27th - 29th of September), breakfast and lunch are included in the fieldtrip fees.
Please note that we expect to return late to Halle on the 29th (around 9 pm) and that you need to book your own accommodation for this night. There is a maximum of 33 participants for this trip, so please register early. More information can be found in the second circular.

Day 1 – Friday, 27th September 2019
Departure from Halle (Saale) at 7:00 am.
Stop I: Outcrop at the river Red Main near Bayreuth, northern Bavaria: Benk Formation, late Ladinian, Middle Triassic
Stop II: Schönbachsmühle Quarry/Hassberge near Bamberg, northern Bavaria: Coburger Sandstein, Carnian, Late Triassic
Stop III: Quarry near Neubrunn village, close to Stop II: Coburger Sandstein, Carnian, Late Triassic
Stop IV: Chirotherium-Monument on the market place of Hildburghausen, southern Thuringia
Stop V: Natural History Museum, Schloss Bertholdsburg, Schleusingen, southern Thuringia
Accommodation: Hotel & Gasthof "Zum goldenen Hirsch", Hauptstraße 29, 98553 Sankt Kilian OT Hirschbach
Day 2 – Saturday, 28th September 2019
