What Goes On In The Shack Library?

Students visit the Shack Library every week for 30 minutes.

Kindergarten and 1st Grade Students Check Out 1 Book.

2nd through 5th Grades Check Out 2 Books.

Books are brought home starting in 2nd grade, though some Kinder and 1st teachers like for their kids to have books at home - ask your teacher for more info!

Books are checked out for 2 weeks. Students are allowed to recheck books if they are still reading their books. We will never ask for late fees; however, if a student loses a book, I ask that the lost book be paid for, or replaced with an exact copy.

Aside from checking out books, your child will hear special stories, tinker with technology, create with S.T.E.M. and Makerspaces, and instill a love of reading!
