Ministries
Children's Ministry
Sunday school meets weekly for children of all ages at 9:30 a.m. during the school year. We have the younger children in a Busy Bee class, an elementary class, a junior class, and a high school class.
Jr. Choir meets weekly during the school year at 9:15.
Child care is available during worship in the Busy Bee room.
Youth Group:
Students in grades 5-12 meet periodically throughout the year for fellowship and fun.
Called to Care.
This group of trained church members specifically visit church members that are shut in, isolated or in special need of prayer. They often go with a prayer shawl or a frozen casserole.
Adult Bible Study
This group meets on Sunday mornings in the Pastor's Study.
Women's Ministry
The Women's Fellowship meets on an as-needed basis. They serve funeral dinners, provide a Sr. scholarship and fund the child care.
Compassionate Cooks
A group has formed with a mission to make salads and casseroles that are stored in a church freezer and available for those that are in need of a hot meal due to illness, injury or going through "a rough patch." The group meets at the church every month or so to make different casseroles and different salads.
Prayer Ministry
Our automated phone system--One Call Now--allows us to notify prayer chain members immediately when prayers are requested. Call the church office at 402-759-3239 if you have a special prayer request.
Music Ministry
The bell choir practices Wednesdays at 6:15 during the school year and usually plays on Christmas Eve and Easter. The Sr. Choir practices Wednesdays at 7:00 during the school year and sings twice a month.
