System requirements

"TaroTools" is a set of procedure files, which run under Igor Pro.

Platform

• • Igor Pro 6 is required. (Wavemetrics frequently releases minor updates of Igor Pro. I recommend the latest version.)

  • Win and Mac compatible

Data formats

• • TaroTools can deal with data in Igor "wave" format. There will be no label on y-axis, thus it can be anything like pA, mV, deltaF. But the x-scaling have to be in ms. To change x-scaling, you can use a utility from TaroTools > Select waves... > Scale waves.

  • TaroTools includes "Load ABF" utility that can import data of pClamp version 9 or earlier into Igor. pClamp 10 is not and will not be supported. Please note that pClamp 10 has a utility that can convert its data into pClamp 9 format.

  • For other data formats, you have to import the data into Igor by yourself or by using third party tools. I hope TaroTools will not interfere with third party programs including NeuroMatic.
