1:30 pm HORSE KILLER ROAD RACE (late wave)

INDIVIDUAL and TEAM TIME TRIAL

7.6 mile course over rolling terrain. It's a loop; you'll have to turn your bike on this time trial course!

HORSE KILLER ROAD RACE

Collegiate Men and Women's C, and USAC Men's 4, will first complete a total of three laps. Their first two laps will be on the short course, a 13-mile loop over undulating terrain, and their last will be a longer, 16-mile loop which includes the 0.5-mile, 12.5% grade Horse Killer climb.

This is legit road racing. Rural farm roads turning to forested lanes. Lots of curvy roads and subtle (and non-so-subtle) elevation change.

But the course is not necessarily a climber's course! The Horse Killer climb is a brute, but it's short, and comes a long way from the finish.
