1. Phillippe: unnecessarily difficult version of the English Philip, or the French Philippe.

2. Samer: blending of parents name (!), consisting of 'sa' from Sandra and 'mer' from Mercio.

1. Staff engineer and permanent member of the Computational Biology Unit of Universitetet i Bergen (UiB, Norway),  an interdisciplinary center dedicated to excellent research, teaching, and infrastructure in computational life sciences. Tasks within data science, high-performance computing, and web-deployment to support international research teams developing novel methods in protein structure modeling, biomolecular simulations, and systems medicine. 

2. PhD in Mathematics and Natural Sciences from Universitetet i Bergen (Norway), focusing on integer programming and combinatorial optimization, supervised by Prof. Dag Haugland. Postgraduate Specialist in Mathematics from Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais (UFMG, Brazil), concentrating on functional analysis.
