Wales in Africa

The direct long term overseas initiatives of the Welsh Government and its communities are focused on East Africa and fall under the headings of:

  • Planning for habitat and species conservation management;

  • Planning for community well-being/betterment, particularly in relation to creating resilience to climate change and the alleviation of poverty.

Both categories of aid and co-production involve the two-way networking of ideas, know how and achievements.
