Previous Board design pictures

We've come a long way!

Assembled MPSciLink device board v1 shown mounted to Arduino Mega 2560*

Prototype v1 board design. This was one of the v1 prototypes used for testing &development.

Assembled prototype MPSciLink device board v2 shown mounted to Arduino Mega 2560*

Early v2 board design. This was one of the v2 prototypes used for testing &development.

Although the PCB was the same as the production model, no customer received this board configuration.

Assembled MPSciLink device board v2 Production model.

SD card module flipped for external access when installed in enclosure.

JST 4POS header used for display harness, same as Nextion touchscreen

DC-DC located under the board

(All v2 board were green PCB)

Assembled MPSciLink device board v2.5

New changes for this version:

  • reconfigured board circuitry to place SD module component side up

  • paired analog 1&2 terminals for increased strength

  • added reset button

  • switched power and ground locations on display JST header so display cable wires are keyed the same on both ends

v2.5 boards were either red or green PCB

Current model: MPSciLink v2.7

Some of the updates for this version,

  • relocated board components for better spacing

  • optimized silk-screen identifier placement

  • new DC-DC to supply on-board +5v for HMI

  • Bluetooth module header for PnP replacement should it be necessary

  • maintained terminal, reset and SD module placement to use existing enclosure design from v2.5

  • due to component availability there were 2 different BT modules used, as well as 2 different arduino mega clones (functions are similar, but required software updates to mpscilink and mptune)

this version boards were available in green, red, or new blue PCB
