Local Sandstone Structures:
Parkgate Sea Wall
A project to record the legacy of sandstone structures in and around Neston was commenced in 2015, the Sea Wall at Parkgate perhaps being the most significant of the local sandstone structures. The article also makes use of historic postcards collected by Wendy Wright to illustrate the development of the Parkgate ‘sea front’ during the 20th C.
