Founders and Directors

Raghu Nandan S and Manasi Pandya Raghunandan

Manasi and Raghunandan S are the dancing duo from Bangalore. Both are known from their production Kala Sangam which is unison of Odissi and Bharatanatyam which has bought laurels to them. Manasi is a double post-graduate with MA in English and MFA in Odissi dance as well as PG diploma in French. Raghunandan holds MFA degree in Bharatanatyam and BE in telecommunication Engineering as well as Vidhwat in Bharatanatyam, Jnr in Mridangam from KSEEB.

They are founders and directors of Abhivyakti Dance centre, Bangalore. Both are awarded with NRITHYA VILASINI, International Women’s day award-Bharathashree , Best abhinay dancer, Godavari sanman, respectively. They have performed in India and abroad at Singapore, Malaysia, Nepal, South Africa, France, Pakistan and Spain.

Raghunandan has been trained from his Grandfather late Guru, H. R Keshava Murthy (central S N A. Awardee) and also from his Father Guru, B.K. Shyam Prakash (Karnataka Kalashri)

Manasi Raghunandan has been the disciple of Padmashree Guru Gangadhar Pradhan, Bhubaneswar and Guru Sharad and Niru Pandya at Purva school of Bharatanatyam, Baroda.

Raghunandan is an auditioned artist of doordarshan and also he is a UGC net qualified in dance. Manasi is also free lance journalist and has performed for Discovery Channel, fantastic festival of the world. She also holds Kovida in Odissi, Diploma and Alankar with gold medal in Bharatanatyam as well as National scholarship.

Their vision : Have a proper channel of promotion and preservation of classical dance and arts and encouragement to talented artists and grooming of dance aspirants to the best. And to continue to be good performers for a long time
