Dear Capitol Heights Elementary School Families:

Welcome to the 2017-18 school year! I hope you enjoyed a summer vacation filled with fun and exciting memories with your loved ones. We are thrilled to welcome all of you back to a new school year of learning and growing.

Personally, I am grateful and elated to continue this journey with you as your principal. Over the past three years at Capitol Heights Elementary School, I have had a chance to meet many of you and your children and look forward to continue building a strong relationship with all of you in the upcoming year.

Our staff remains committed to you and your child in continuing our pursuit of “SUCCESS FOR EVERY STUDENT." Let’s continue our journey to shaping the minds of lifelong learners together, as “One School with One Goal and One Belief; No Limits to Students Success!"

We are truly proud to serve as a Dual Language and Arts Integration model school within Prince Georges County. Our teachers are highly skilled professionals who are dedicated to making this school year a successful one for you.

I encourage each of you to work hard and get involved. If you have any questions about our school, please ask. You can ask me, your teachers, and/or visit the CHES main office. If we don’t know the answer, we will find it for you. We are looking forward to a fantastic school year!
