My name is Katie Coopwood and this is my first year teaching! I recently graduated from Texas Tech University (wreck em'), where I received my Bachelor's of Science in Family and Consumer Sciences Education. I am an Austin native, so needless to say I am very happy to be back in Austin with my family and friends! I feel extremely honored to be able to start off my teaching career in Leander ISD, especially at Vista Ridge. I will be teaching Introduction to Culinary Arts, Lifetime Nutrition & Wellness, and Interpersonal Studies. This is going to be a great year, and we are going to have some fun!
