A transformative educational journey - classroom learning with practical workplace training

School Based Apprenticeships and Traineeships (SBATs), provide students in New South Wales schools with the opportunity to gain valuable hands-on experience while completing their Higher School Certificate (HSC). SBATs provide a unique pathway for students to combine classroom learning with practical workplace training, allowing them to gain a nationally recognised qualification while still in school. Whether exploring industries such as hospitality, construction, retail, or information technology, SBATs offer a tailored approach to learning, enabling students to develop industry-specific skills, gain insights into their chosen career field, and establish valuable connections within the workforce. Students can customise their educational experience to suit their interests and career aspirations. By participating in an SBAT, students not only enhance their employability but also gain a head start in their chosen career path, setting them on the path to future success.
