Ezekiel Adebayo Ogundepo's Profile

I am a certified RStudio instructor. My interest in solving problems related to data in small- or large-scale, coupled with the zeal to be among the best world-class data scientists known for applying data in making informed decisions for organizations and industries ignited my passion for the field of data science. Ezekiel graduated with a First-Class Honors degree in Statistics at the University of Ilorin, Nigeria.

In 2017, Ezekiel won a competitive MasterCard Scholarship worth $25,000 to study for a master degree in Mathematical Sciences at the African Institute for Mathematical Sciences (AIMS), Kigali, Rwanda. While studying at AIMS, Ezekiel became a Talent at UNLEASH. UNLEASH is a global innovation lab that brings together people from all over the world to transform 1,000 personal insights into hundreds of innovative solutions and build lasting global networks around the Sustainable Development Goals. The UNLEASH Innovation Lab 2018 was held in Singapore.

He participated in the DataHack4FI Season 3 as a Data Enthusiast with Insight to Impact in 2018, where he was enrolled in the Microsoft Professional Program (MPP) in Data Science. Ezekiel received a gold award after completing 13 modules and with an average performance of 93%. The knowledge and skills gained were applied in the Capstone project with a score of 100% in data analysis, 87% in Machine learning, and 87% in the executive report. The completion of the program made him MPP certified.

Ezekiel has used the set skills in data wrangling, analysis, machine learning, and analytical storytelling to provide statistical consultancy for clients in 15 countries covering 10% of the world domination as a freelancer on Fiverr corporation. His professional consultancy as a data scientist has brought innovation to the Rwanda Revenue Authority (RRA) in that he worked with a team to build dynamic taxpayers' data portal which allowed stakeholders to have access to data. Ezekiel has a passion for statistics, data visualization, geospatial, machine learning, and data science. Facebook supported this passion by giving him a scholarship that enrolled him for the machine learning track on DataCamp.

Ezekiel plans to become an innovator who propels scientific, educational, and economic self-sufficiency. He is one of those that promote data science in Africa as a teacher and a developer.
