Kim Wilkinson

Kim Wilkinson was born and raised in Bellows Falls, VT. She attended Bellows Falls schools and graduated from BFUHS in 1991. While in high school, she was a multiple-sport athlete, participating in field hockey and softball for four years, as well as basketball and the ski team. She was top ten of her class, a member of the National Honor Society, as well as being a part of various clubs. She also worked many years as a lifeguard at the Rockingham Recreation Department.

After high school, Kim attended Springfield College and graduated with a Bachelor’s Degree in 1995, then received her Master’s Degree of Education in 1997 from UVM. She moved to North Carolina and taught at Independence High School until 2001 before moving back home and accepting the position in the AEP Program at BFUHS where she has been ever since.

Over the years, she has also volunteered with many Rec leagues for tee-ball, softball, and basketball. She was a Den leader for Cub Scouts, coached BFMS softball for one year, and field hockey for seven years. She also began coaching JV field hockey at BFUHS in 2003 and is still coaching today.

Kim is a true Terrier at heart and has instilled this in her three children. Being involved in many community events, attending sporting events clad in purple, and heading up committees at the school such as being Class Advisor and Advisor for NHS. These, along with the many other accolades mentioned are why she is so deserving of being a member of the Terrier Hall of Fame.
