Hello and welcome to K-2 Reading!

Hello and a warm Welcome to my classroom! I am very excited and honored to be teaching reading at Westwood Elementary.

I have a teaching degree from UW-Stevens Point in Early Childhood Education as well as certification in grades 1-3. I completed the Reading 316 graduate program at Viterbo College, certified to teach literacy in grades K-12.

My husband Dean teaches math at West De Pere High School and we are blessed with three children and a daughter-in-law: Jon (Megan), Tom, and Elle. I love to read, bake and cook, hike and run, and family vacations. I enjoy cheering on the Badgers, Packers, Phantoms, and UWSP Pointers!

On Thanksgiving 2020, I welcomed my first grandchild...a baby boy! He is a blessing!

I am anxious to share my love for children and my passion for reading!
