Introduction Letter

Dear Parents, Guardians, Students, and Faculty,

We are thrilled to announce our partnership with the Wayne Public Library enables our students to have a Public Library Card that gives them access to all the online resources our Public Library (and P.A.L.S.) has to offer.

To facilitate this, we are asking that any incoming freshmen AND all new students fill out this Google Form (https://forms.gle/FFcwK7tmiNP1W4M99 )

If you already filled out the form to get a card last year, that card number will still work, and you do not need to fill out the form again.

Once filled out, the library will assign a new library card number to the student (or let them know what their library card number is if they have forgotten it). The email with this information will go to the student's Wayne Schools email address.

If students would like access to physical resources in the library (books, DVDs, etc.), parents/guardians would also need to sign a form located at http://www.waynepubliclibrary.org/images/pdf/adults/librarycard_app2016.pdf and bring that to the library. The Google Form application and digital card number will only allow access to ONLINE RESOURCES.

As a reminder, all students are expected and required to abide by the Wayne County Schools Acceptable Use Policy for Technology In Secondary Schools, which can be accessed here: https://www.straussesmay.com/seportal/Public/DistrictPolicy.aspx?policyid=2361&search=2361&id=6218b96ed1f54935af593c79cd329a04

Thank-you for your help and cooperation.

All the best,

Kristen Caldwell
