How to take screenshots in Windows 10?

The Snip & Sketch tool is very easy to get control of and makes this tool make it very easy to share screenshots, but it does not have a very important feature that is keeping logged on Team Snipping Tool. From the Snip & Sketch window, select the ‘New button’ in the topmost left corner to start a screen capture.

The Snip & Sketch window disappears, and in the place of the window the user would be able to view a tiny menu at the top of your screen. This menu option helps to choose the type of screenshot you want to take. It can be rectangular, full form or free-screen. Surprisingly, this app does not allow to take a full screen shot of the screen being used, rather it capture a screenshot of a window which can be done with the help of go-to with the Snipping Tool. The user can also select the down-arrow button next to the ‘New button’ in the Snip & Sketch window. By this way, they would be able to delay a snip for 3 or 10 seconds.

Features of a Snipping Tool

The Snipping Tool has been a feature of a software since Windows Vista. To activate select the New button to begin the screenshot process. The rectangular snip is the snip type which is available by default, but the user can also take full-screen and free form snips in addition to the window snip.

The Snipping Tool does not save the screenshots, in order to retain it, the user will need to manually save them in the tool before the user exits the screen. The Sniping Tool, on the other hand by default, copies the captures of the user to the clipboard.

How to use the Sniping Tool

One can capture the entire screen, select the Print Screen which some people also known by the name of PrtSckey. The screenshot will not be saved automatically as a file, but it will be copied to the clipboard. To save it, one needs to open an image in an editing tool for example Microsoft Paint, and then paste the screenshot in the editor and save the file from there.

The Snip & Sketch tool can be set to open using PrtScn button by going to Settings > Ease of Access > Keyboard and toggling on ‘Use the PrtScn button’ to open screen snipping under Print Screen Shortcut.
