TOGETHER... IN THE WINDS OF CHANGE
LATVIAN LTTA
Between 16 and 20 may 2022, the 1st LTTA-students of our project took place in Incukalns, with the participation of the Latvian school comunity and 18 students and 10 teachers from the Italian, Portuguese, Romanian and Turkish schools.
16.05.2022 - 1st day of our LTTA-studentsToday the 1st LTTA-students of our project started at the Incukalna Pamatskola in Latvia. In addition to the Latvian students, during this week we have 6 students from Portugal, 4 from Turkey, 4 from Italy and 4 from Romania. The morning began with a welcome ceremony by the community of Incukalna Pamatskola. Then we had a guided tour of the school, with presence in several classes. An icebreaker followed and then we went to lunch in the school canteen. In the afternoon each country made a presentation of their country and their school, followed by a actionbound game (team building) in mixed teams around the village of Incukalns, while the teachers took a guided tour of the village. The day ended with a convivial dinner. It was a wonderful day!!!
17.05.2022 - 2nd day of our LTTA-studentsToday we spent the day in Riga, the capital of Latvia. What a beautiful city, with many and well preserved monuments! In the morning we visited the Motormuseum, one of the best museums in the world to see old cars. Then we went for lunch traditional Latvian food: salmon, meat and... potatoes. The afternoon was spent in the historic center of Riga. We walked through some of the main streets and learned more about the history of this beautiful city. Was great to see so many Ucranian flags all over the city. Let's be together... in peace! This is the Erasmus spirit: united in the diversity!!!
18.05.2022 - 3rd day of our LTTA-studentsWe are halfway through our LTTA Erasmus and the experience is being excellent! Today the journey was full of activities at the school: in the morning the students from Latvia hosted the students from the partner schools in activities related to the Safety Day at the School of Incukalns (fire, police, civil guard...) and by the afternoon there was a set of sports activities (table hockey, pool...) where students played in mixed teams, in a logic of strengthening cooperation, friendship and multiculturalism! Great experience for all the students! Together we are happy...
19.05.2022 - 4th day of our LTTA-studentsAnother fantastic day, full of multiculturalism and smiles! In the morning, students and teachers attended classes and were able to interact with students and teachers of the Latvian school. The interaction was excellent. After lunch in the school canteen (and how good it is to eat in the canteen!) we went to visit the city of Sigulda and discover its natural and cultural riches. The day ended in the best way with a traditional Latvian party, where we were able to learn more about the culture of this country: gastronomy, music, dances, handicrafts and traditional games. There were moments of great sharing, cooperation, multiculturalism and happiness!
20.05.2022 - 5th day of our LTTA-studentsLast day in Incukalns. And what a fantastic day! The day started with a radical descent on an alpine coaster, followed by a visit to a local food factory, where the students could make their own sweets. After lunch (and the goodbye to our Romanian friends), two interesting workshops were held, one on painting and the other about dance. At the end of the day there was a farewell party, with a typical Latvian dinner, many traditional games, music, dance and fun! There was also the ceremony for handing over the participation certificates and... the farewells!!!
It was a fantastic, unforgettable days with a great Erasmus spirit, with a lot of cultural sharing. The Latvian team was super. Once Erasmus, forever Erasmus. See you all in Turkey!
