The Writers' Guild participates in numerous community events throughout the year. For instance, the Heads advertise the Guild at events such as the Penn Walk-around in order to draw more members to the Guild. We also encourage all who are interested to participate in National Novel Writers' Month (AKA NaNoWriMo) each November.

The Writer's Guild Community expands beyond our meetings and events. We also have an extensive online community to members to participate in. The Writers' Guild has its own members-only website where any guild member can upload their works and gain feedback on their writing if they so choose. We also have our own group chat on Slack where members can talk to each other.
