Songs from the Jazz Conception Series by Jim Snidero
These pieces are from the JAZZ CONCEPTION books by Jim Snidero (pub. Advance Music). Some are based on famous jazz tunes- click on the name of the original song to hear it. The pieces from these books are listed as graded solos in the New York State School Music Association (NYSSMA) Manual.
There are many alternate positions in these songs. If you'd like to see a list of the ones used for a specific tune, there are two ways. You can either click on the photo of the piece and then click on the word YOUTUBE on the bottom. This will open the video in YouTube, and you can then open the description. Most include the list as well as some pointers. For the few that don't, or if you'd rather just ask, please email us at thetromboneplace@gmail.com and we'll be glad to send them to you
