BREEZE-EASY is a popular trombone method book by John Kinyon (pub. Alfred Music, 1958, renewed 1984). It has two volumes. Most of the exercises and songs are written for one part, but there are a few duets. These videos let students practice them any time with another trombonist. For each one-

•the metronome is set at 80.

•there is one full measure of prep beats, except

•when duets have two beats per measure, there are four prep beats (two measures)

•when duets have pickup notes, there is a full measure followed by the measure with the pickup.

•I play the bottom part first so that the student can play the top part.

•I play the top part second so that the student can play the bottom part.

Try to play the notes in time. Once you can do that, think about matching my style, articulation, and dynamics.
