What are the pick-up & delivery hours?

Orders placed on our online store can be picked up or delivered Tuesday-Friday from 10AM - 12PM & 4PM-6PM and on Saturdays from 10AM-12PM. You can still have your board for Sunday/Monday delivered on a Saturday - just keep it refrigerated for up to 48 hours! Large group catering orders are accommodated 7 days a week - please fill out our catering inquiry form.

What's the delivery radius and cost?

Delivery for boards purchased on our online shop is available within a 15 mile radius of our kitchen (324 N Leavitt St, Chicago, IL 60612). We work with a dedicated in-house team to facilitate deliveries. Our $10 delivery fee goes directly to the dedicated courier team. Your order will arrive during the date/time window that you select at checkout.

Large group catering is accommodated anywhere (subject to a travel fee dependent on location).

Can you decorate my charcuterie board for an occasion?

Absolutely! During checkout, upgrade to one of our occasion decor options - we can decorate your board for bachelorettes, birthdays, anniversaries, congratulations, & thank you's.

Can orders be picked up?

Absolutely! Complimentary pickup is available at Kitchen Chicago (324 N Leavitt St, Chicago IL 60612) Tuesday-Saturday. Select your preferred pickup time at checkout.

What is the required order lead time?

We can accommodate all orders placed 48 hours in advance.

Is there a Sliced storefront?

We do not have a storefront. But never say never! We operate out of Kitchen Chicago, a commercially licensed shared-use kitchen in Chicago's West Loop.

Is Sliced legally operating?

Sliced Chi, LLC is a fully licensed and insured catering company. We adhere to the strict guidelines for food service businesses in the City of Chicago and State of Illinois. We operate within Kitchen Chicago, a fully equipped, commercially licensed shared-use kitchen. All staff members that are active in our kitchens are certified Food Sanitation Managers.

Can a board be ordered as a gift?

Of course! Our boards are beautifully packaged in branded kraft boxes perfectly suited for gifting local to Greater Chicago. We also offer complimentary hand written greeting cards upon request - just leave a note at checkout. Please be sure to communicate with your recipient to ensure they are present to receive the delivery!

When should the board be consumed?

Our boards come ready-to-entertain straight out of the box! We recommend consuming as soon as possible. If you are unable to graze immediately, please store your board in the refrigerator while covered with our plastic wrap to preserve freshness. Eat within 24 hours. Boards should not be left out for more than two hours.

In the event of leftovers, wrap the cheese/charcuterie in parchment paper, store in individual bags & refrigerate. For the accessories, place into resealable bags or jars & refrigerate.

Can custom orders be accommodated?

We do our best to coordinate all custom orders. Price is subject to ingredients on board. Please contact us for more information on creating a custom order or event display.

Is event set-up assistance offered?

Have a busy day and need Sliced to set up the charcuterie displays after delivery? For full-service unwrap & setup assistance, please select "Set Up Assistance" at checkout. A member of our team will be happy to unwrap & set up your board(s) in your preferred location for an additional fee.

I want Sliced to cater my large event. Where should I start?

Fill out our catering event inquiry form and hear back from us in 48 hours with an invoice and contract for services!

Can you manage corporate or client gifting campaigns?

Policies

Cancellation & return policy

Cancellations - If you need to cancel your order, please contact us with 48 hour notice and we will happily offer you a credit towards a future order. Orders cancelled less than 48hrs prior to delivery are ineligible for a credit or refund as goods have been purchased.

Returns - Due to the perishable nature of our ingredients, we do not offer returns for any purchases. However, if you receive damaged goods please contact us.

Rushed orders (less than 48 hour notice)

As a small business that operates with many reservation-based partners (kitchen & delivery team) in conjunction with the perishable nature of our ingredients we are not able to accept orders with less than 48 hours notice.

Allergens statement

We offer gluten free, dairy free, vegan, & vegetarian upgrades during checkout. Have an allergy? Let us know if you have an allergy in your order notes. We are happy to craft your order with dietary/allergy restrictions in mind. However, please note that since our kitchen is shared with other Chefs, we cannot claim that cross-contamination does not occur.

Food safety statement

Due to the perishable nature of our ingredients, each of our boxes include a sticker that says: "IMPORTANT: Must Be Kept Refrigerated". The board should be removed from refrigeration 20-minutes prior to consumption. Discard after 48 hours. Customer assumes all responsibility for order after pickup or delivery.

Gifting policy

Please do NOT place a gift order until you have confirmed with your recipient that they will be home to receive the gift during your selected delivery time. If the recipient is not present for the delivery, you will be notified and the order will be taken back to our commercial kitchen. We are able to hold the order for pickup or secondary delivery ($) for up to 24 hours - after that it will be discarded and no monies will be returned.

Delivery statement

Deliveries are made to our best ability during your selected time frame. Due to the ever-changing nature of Chicago traffic levels, we often experience delays. If there is a delay in your delivery you will be notified ASAP by our delivery team.
