Sikhs of Denmark

In 2018, Sukhraj Singh moved to Denmark and on arrival was amazed

to learn how many Sikhs reside in Denmark and to what extent the community were established.

He began learning more to document their 50 year history and was able to showcase his findings as an exhibition at the Immigration Museum in Farum in 2020.

Below are some images from the research and the opening day of the exhibition.

We are currently working on a "Sikhs of Denmark" book

which intends to explore the oral history and story telling of the Sikh community

formation and identity as a member of the Sikh diaspora outside of Punjab.
