The church’s doors will open at 8:45 am. Please wait in line with your child in the marked spots. If your child has a set of scriptures, we invite him or her to bring it to class. Also, we ask that he/she would wear appropriate shoes for running & playing games, this means no skirts (without shorts underneath) for girls and tennis shoes for all please. Please send a labeled water bottle.

Pick up time is promptly at 12:30 pm. We will have a car line that starts at the north door and lines up along the driveway. Look for the orange cones marking the wait line. You will receive a VCS car rider sign in the morning on the first day. It will be helpful for a smooth pickup if the sign is on the dashboard. The children will sit in the fellowship hall while we wait until your car pulls up to the door to be dismissed. Due to COVID, we are trying to limit the number of people in the building, so plan on using the car line to pick up your child. If you have concerns about this, please let us know at morning check in.

Thursday will mark our last day of Vacation Church School. We will celebrate this week with a short program & refreshments. Parents and grandparents will have the opportunity to see what the children have learned during the week and the friendships that were made. The program will feature songs, a picture slideshow, and a craft exhibit. Don’t miss out! Thursday, July 29th at 7pm. Please remember to practice social distancing from those outside your family group and wear a mask.

We will be adhering to CDC and Jackson County Health Department guidelines, which can change. At this time, these are some of the precautions that will be in place. While we will practice social distancing as much as possible, it will not be possible in all situations. Masks will be worn by both staff and attendees. Plenty of opportunities for handwashing/sanitizing will be available. You must also screen your child every day before sending them to VCS. Anyone exhibiting any symptoms will have to be picked up immediately. We also require that anyone who becomes sick or tests positive for COVID anytime during the week of VCS up to 7/31 will notify staff so that we may contact any affected individuals.
