Virtual VBS

July 27-31

Life sure is full of ups and downs; but no matter what we face, Jesus’ power can pull us through! That phenomenal truth is at the core of this year’s VBS! The year 2020 has brought many uncertainties and difficulties. When it came time to plan for this year, we knew that kids (and parents!) needed to hold on to the hope that only Jesus can provide.

The current health and safety guidelines have many limitations that prevent an “ordinary” VBS from happening, but that doesn’t mean that we can’t have an EXTRAordinary VBS! The health and safety of your family is a main priority. That’s why we decided to offer a virtual VBS. This would allow your child to hear the Good News from the safety of your own home. 😊 Another added bonus is that your family can grow together as you complete each day’s lesson!

All of the details concerning this year’s program can be found in the FAQ document below. Here is a brief overview of the schedule. VBS will occur July 27-31. Each morning, the daily video will be posted on the church Facebook page and website at 10:00 am. The videos are about 30 minutes in length. You can watch the daily video all at once, or spread it out throughout your day. At 6:30 pm, you are invited to join us for a nightly Zoom meeting. We will review the daily Bible Point, share God sightings, pray, and maybe even sing a song or two! Please note, on Friday the Zoom meeting will occur at 12:00 instead of 6:30. The log-in information for the nightly Zoom meeting is located in your child's Rocky Railway travel bag.

We are so excited to share this experience with your family. Please pass the word along to your friends and family and invite them to join us on this journey. It is sure to be a life changing ride!

Church Reopening Plans

Worshiping together plays an important role in our growth as Christians. Being apart during these uncertain times has been difficult to say the least. We are excited about taking steps towards worshiping together again. The guidelines below have been established to help keep everyone safe and healthy when we join together for worship. Please review the guidelines carefully. We look forward to seeing you soon!
