Foley, FX and other sound recordists tend to be under-represented, but have provided much of the soundscape of our lives, in the form of background audio for media such as film and games.

  • Australian Screen Sound Guild (ASSG) - represents the profession of screen sound in film, television, multimedia and other related audio industries, formed in 1988 and aims to recognise and promote original and creative work, encourage high standards and to facilitate research into the techniques and technology of screen sound production.
