Jawanji Ka Khera/जवानजी का खेडा is a village that is situated in Amet block of Rajsamand District.

It's actual name is Jawan Singh ji ka Khera because this village is established by Thakur Jawan Singh Solanki who was ancestor of Thakur Hamir singh solanki.

Thakur hamir singh solanki was child of Thakur Sanwant Singh Solanki(1491-1536) and Thakurani Tejwanti Kanwar rathore(Dhundhal). In Jawanji ka khera, Hameersinghot clan of solanki rajput lives.

This village's solanki rajput is orginated from Thikana Roopnagar.

in our rajputi language origination means "Bhaipa" which means from which Thikana You originated.

Thakur Hameer Singh Solanki received 12 villages from his father(Thakur Sanwant Singh Solanki) in 1522, which included Jawanji-ka-Khera, Kanji-ka-Khera, Banda, Guda Nathaji, Guda Merta, Meghpur-ki-Thagal, Khamleda and Sumer.

The ancestors of Roopnagar family originally ruled in Gujarat from 900A.D-1300A.D, and were descended from Raja Tribhuvanpal, the last Solanki King of Gujarat (1241-1244).

Roopnagar family is from direct 7th generation bloodline of last Solanki king of gujarat Raja Tribhuvanpal singh.

After Raja Tribhuvanpal, another branch of solankis Vaghela/Baghela branch came in prominance in Gujarat.

Hence Ancient Solanki Dynasty kingdom ended in gujarat around 1296 A.D and Vaghela Dynasty (a branch of solanki) came in power. Virdhaval was the first Vaghela king of gujarat.
