How You Can Help Us

We are always looking to build relationships with employers who can support our students to develop their employability skills and inspire them to consider a wide range of careers. If you would like to help us, please consider volunteering for one of the events below.

Mock Interviews - Tuesday 27th September 2022
Our Year 11 students all get an opportunity to be interviewed in person by a local employer, and receive feedback on how they would do in a real interview. If you would be able to be a mock interviewer for our students, please contact us.

Careers Fair - Tuesday 7th March 2023
If you are not able to join us in person, we also have a virtual careers fair available to our students all year round: https://www.sites.google.com/view/tk-careers-fair
For our students to learn more about your company and industry, we would like to ask if it would be possible for you to record a short video of no more than 5 minutes telling our students about your job. This could include details about what you do in a typical day, what qualifications or experience you needed to get your job or any other details that you feel would inspire and engage our students to make them consider your line of work in the future.

Ask The Professional Day - Tuesday 9th May 2023
At this event, our Year 10 students are visited by 2-3 employers per tutor group to find out more about their jobs.

Work Experience Week - Monday 17th - Friday 21st July 2023
We are keen to expand our list of employers who are able to offer our Year 10 students a work experience placement in person - please contact us if you would be able to take on a work experience student for this week, and we can match you to a suitable pupil.
