Libraries offer endless knowledge, yes —but if you look past the stacks, there is much to appreciate and discover. From in-house cafes and free tech to cozy nooks and blissful quiet, the library is still the perfect place to gather, learn, rest, or just escape for an afternoon. No wonder then, even in the age of Amazon, we still find so many good reasons to visit the library, beyond, of course, the books.
Book Exhibition for Students on World Book Day 23 April
Please encourage your child to read. The more they read the more they will know and the more they know the better they will do in school. Make it a point to know what your child's reading level and reading goals are. Reading is very important to your child and it takes practice, so make sure that they are reading every day. Remember it does not have to be just books, it can be newspapers, magazines, cereal boxes, or street signs. Be sure to visit your school library on Parenting Day. Reading is something that your child will do every day from now on.
