Jieun Ahn (안지은) 

Hello,  my name is Jieun Ahn. I am an Assistant Professor at Cyber Hankuk University of Foreign Studies (CUFS). Before joining CUFS, I served as a lecturer in Early English Education at Yonsei University. I earned my Ph. D. in Second Language Studies (SLS) from Michigan State University, where I was awarded a full research assistantship. During my doctoral studies, I had the opportunity to work as a research assistant under the guidacne of Drs. Aline Godfroid, Susan Gass, and Paula Winke. 

My research interests involve second language (L2) acquisition, psycholinguistics, L2 reading, young learners, and AI-assisted language learning. For dissertation research, I obtained a personal portable eye-tracker, the Portable Duo (SR research), and set up the first satellite version of the SLS eye-tracking lab. My research articles can be found in journals such as Bilingualism: Language and Cognition, TESOL Quarterly, and Language Learning and Technology among others.
