Short Biography 

I am an agricultural economist with scientific and professional interests in crosscutting issues including economics of development planning, sustainable development in the context of climate change, agricultural and natural resource sustainability, innovations for sustainable development, and food and nutritional security. I hold a PhD in Regional and Rural Development Planning from Asian Institute of Technology, Thailand. I have authored 30+ peer-reviewed journal articles and 3 book chapters. I have more than ten years of research experience working with various international and national organizations on research projects related to climate smart agriculture, water resource management, agriculture, and food security. I have presented several invited international seminars in various countries that include China, Finland, Nepal, Pakistan, the Netherlands, and Thailand. I have published in highly reputed international journals like Sustainable Production and Consumption, Journal of Cleaner Production, Science of the Total Environment, Land Use Policy, Environment Development and Sustainability, International Journal of the Commons, Sustainable Cities and Society, Natural Hazards, and Ecology of Food and Nutrition etc.
