Fundraisers
Fundraisers and industry sponsorship allow the Student Chapter to hold networking events, technical presentations, and aid students in attending GeoWall Competitions. These events are integral for our members to develop connections and build a network within the Geotechnical community. Fundraisers are also a way for our chapter to give back to the community; a portion of the sales from our events are donated to local charities. In the future, we plan to organize volunteer events with local charities.

Coffee Sales
Coffee Sales
Our student chapter understands the need for caffeine to get through an engineering degree. Which is why we held monthly coffee sales in the engineering student lounge located in the basement of the Stanley Pauley Engineering Building in 2020. The student chapter successfully held three coffee sales before classes were moved online due to COVID-19. All proceeds from our final sale were donated to Siloam Mission.Â
