Therefore, the relationship between targeted aquaculture species and environmental variables can be quantified using biological research and used as a default parameter for setting a new aquaculture environment.

Unlike equipment-oriented current aquaculture system that passively follows mechanically set physical conditions, Betafish proposes that land-based aquaculture systems actively generate an optimal range of physical conditions derived from biological research results. Information and communication technology (ICT) can be applied to collect real-time data pools; it can be classified for further analysis.
