Aletheia Donald

Hi! I am a Senior Economist at the World Bank's Africa Gender Innovation Lab, where I lead the agriculture and measurement thematic areas. I am also an affiliate of IZA and the Center for Research on Women and Jobs (CRWJ),  and serve on various steering committees and technical advisory groups. 

My research focuses on identifying and addressing gender-based constraints to productivity, property rights and prosperity—and improving the quality of their measurement. 

Previously, I was a Research Fellow at the Harvard Kennedy School's Evidence for Policy Design, Non-Resident Fellow at the Center for Global Development, Head of Research at Empower Dalit Women of Nepal and a research assistant at Innovations for Poverty Action. I also did brief stints with the International Institute for Environment and Development, Grameen Bank, Citigroup and FWDPR.
